"I do not even know the meaning of being broke" — Eniola Badmus goofs

Nollywood actress and Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearings, Eniola Badmus, has stirred reactions after declaring that she has no idea what it means to be broke.

Speaking during a red carpet interview at the premiere of The Return of Omotara Johnson, the actress was asked how she copes with financial difficulties but said she could not relate to the experience.

When asked, "What does being broke mean to you?" Badmus responded:

"I do not even know the meaning of being broke."

She was also asked what being rich means to her, and she explained that wealth goes beyond having money.

"To have all the things that you want at your beck and call. When you are comfortable and able to buy whatever you want and also, most importantly, impact on other people's lives."

Badmus added that while money is an important part of success, the two should not be confused.

"When you are successful, it means you have money. But when you have money, it does not mean you are successful."
